Augment/NLS Manual Updates (Smalltalk client)

What It Is:

There are some significant differences between the original Augment client described in the July 18, 1994 set of user manuals, and the actual operation of the later Smalltalk clients, both VAT-0 and VAT-1 modes of operation. I will note them as I learn my way through the Smalltalk client (time allowing).

The mouse.

Original Augment functions are:
Selector - single click Left button
Command Delete (clears any command from the C:\ prompt line at the top) - single click Center button
OK, aka Command Accept - single click Right button

Smalltalk mouse functions:
Selector - single click Left button
Command Delete (clears any command from the C:\ prompt line at the top) - single click Right button
OK, aka Command Accept - click Left button a second time
(and I'm not sure what the middle button does anymore)

Drop-down menus.

Some of them don't work. Debug windows pop up. Solution? I don't use them. The command line is the true Augment style anyway, part of what makes the system so fast to use.

Backspace Key

The backspace key doesn't "undo" on the Smalltalk client. Try CTRL-a.
