Project: BOB - Basics of Banking

After already having started Citicorp's computer based training program, BOB was the application that inaugurated their new Macintosh based interactive training classroom. Tellers were given a choice of traditional classroom/teacher training, or computer based interactive training. The vast majority chose the computer, and the scores were tracked at a consistently higher level than those achieved by the traditional program. A correct answer was "rewarded" by the sound of a cash register ringing. An incorrect choice generated a gong, and a deep voice saying "Wrong!" Because we deliberately made the screens playful, trainees were not intimidated by the software.
